Made with polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the Vacutainer Plastic Blood Collection Tube with K2EDTA Hemogard, 1000 per Case ensures medical personnel with a safer work environment. The tube reduces the risk of breakage during handling and reduces potential injuries. These are spray-coated with K2EDTA which is the anticoagulant of choice in specimen collection.

Hemogard Closure. Sealed with Hemogard Closure, the Vacutainer Plastic Blood Collection Tube, 1000 per Case is created for safer tube handling. It features a protective shield over the rubber stopper engineered for optimal protection for medical personnel from coming in contact with blood. The Rubber Stopper is recessed inside the plastic shield which ensures isolation of specimen.
