This Jawa speedway racer is powered by a methanol-burning 493cc four-stroke single mated to a single-speed transmission. It features a 23″ front wheel, a red and black seat, a Dell’Orto carburetor, a leading-link front end, a vinyl handlebar shroud, and both front and rear fenders. This Jawa racer was acquired by the seller in 2023 and is now offered at no reserve in Iowa for off-road use only with a bill of sale.
The polished frame features in-tube oil storage, and bodywork consists of front and rear fenders, a rear wheel disc, and a chain guard. The seller notes chips and scratches on the frame and bodywork.
Wire-spoke wheels measuring 23″ up front and 19″ at the rear are mounted with Mitas Speedway tires. A leading-link fork comprises the bike’s only suspension, and it does not have brakes.
The handlebar is equipped with a twist-grip throttle and a clutch lever as well as a snap-on white vinyl shroud. The shroud is said to have been signed by Polish speedway racer Mateusz Cierniak.
The methanol-burning 493cc SOHC single features a 34mm Dell’Orto carburetor and transfers power to the rear wheel through a single-speed transmission and a drive chain.
The bike does not have a title or registration. It is being sold on a bill of sale only.
