When we were photographing the Spotted nutcrackers (Nucifraga caryocatactes) in the Engadina in January, we were not alone 😉 The other songbirds of the forest like Coal tits, Willow tits and Great tits were also around and happily grabbing our sunflower seeds.
But we were extremely happy to come across this cute Eurasian Treecreeper (Certhia familiaris) and were even more delighted that we managed to take two decent photos!
I hope you enjoy this little charming chap.
Hello, I’m Sandra – a passionate landscape photographer and solo globetrotter. In this blog I show my best landscape, nature and travel photos which have been taken during my travels around the world. I shared my passion for travel and photography with my late husband Gerd until 2018, whom I now take with me in my heart to every place I visit. Well I enjoyed them immensely. Treecreepers are fun birds to study and getting one against a clean sky is a real bonus. Lovely jubbly.
waaaaaw Sandra! wonderful!!!
