Northern Gannet (Morus bassanus) in Scotland. August 2015. Not baited. Not called in.

Largest gannet on earth, the Northern Gannet (Morus bassanus) is a magnificient seabird. My friends and I had the chance to see many of them fishing off Isle of Mull in Scotland. Their spectacular technique consists in locating their prey very high in the sky while flying, and then diving at high speed to catch the fish. They pierce the water like an arrow. An incredible show to watch!
