Hi everyone and thank you all for your generous donations. All of this is truly amazing and the support we’ve been receiving is incredible from everyone. Based on your generosity, I’ve updated the goal amount to help Lori and the kids as we’ve also found out their health insurance ended the day Jeff passed away. So any and every bit will just make all of this so much easier on Lori as she navigates how to deal with this from a financial perspective. Thank you all!
Hi, my name is Lisa and I’m raising money for my sister, niece and nephew who unexpectedly lost their husband and father, Jeff Jacoby, earlier this week. Jeff and Lori were married almost 25 years and he was an incredible dad to his kids, Jenna and Jake. Both are in college now and as you can imagine it’s going to be tough getting through this journey without their dad’s help. Jeff was a career police officer having served on 3 different departments. When he finally “retired” a few years ago he went right back to being a patrol officer. He was liked and admired by many and will truly be missed by all of those he encountered. Every year he went on a fishing trip with some of his closest friends and this year he was having the best trip ever, catching many many fish. So many that he felt bad about the other guys not doing as good and said he’s not catching another one until they did. That’s what Jeff’s true character was really like. We are all in shock and devastated with Jeff’s passing and want to be there for Lori, Jenna and Jake as much as we can to try and fill this huge void they all have to endure now and go on living their lives without him. We appreciate anything you may be able to contribute to this incredible family in honor of an incredible man who served his community and continued to do so until his passing. Jeff, I hope the fishing is as good in heaven as it was this week. You will truly be missed!
