Tundra Bean-Goose (Anser serrirostris)

Very tame hanging out near but not associating with domestic geese and Canada Geese. First found by Jon Feenstra near Lancaster 6 March 2023 and remaining in the area at Apollo Park through 8 July 2023 where it became quite tame. Dan Singer and I looked unsuccessfully for it on 10 July but it showed up here in Willowbrook on 13 July 2023 remaining through the current period. I understand analysis of plumage and bill pattern confirmed it was the same bird. It is presumably nominate "A. s. serrirostris" which breeds in the Russian Far East. If accepted this would be the 6th record for California. There are also two previous records accepted as Taiga/Tundra Bean-Goose, one of which I saw at the South end of the Salton Sea 27 November 2010.
