The goal on this school project was to redefine Metallica's classic "Master of Puppets" in a modern and stylized way, closer to the work of the agency Turner Duckworth, their current designers.
This is the 1986 classic cover.
And this is the final design I ended up for the front vinyl. I focused on the most powerful and meaninful elements ( strings, cross...) while I used the hands later inside the cd version.
