Abstract
Disease control is an important item including good techniques of restraining, sedative and anesthesia practices, clinical examination and sampling, laboratory analysis, treatment of the sick animals, prevention, and necropsy of dead animals, most of these items being under veterinary control. The main diseases affecting the different organs and anatomical parts of camel are described, and possible treatment and prevention are suggested. It includes skin diseases, eyes and sinus conditions, locomotion disorders, digestive and respiratory syndromes, reproduction diseases, and some specific diseases as mange or trypanosomosis.
