Fanned Mohawk: the most common and recognisable both sides of the head shaved leaving a strip down the middle.

Liberty spikes: spiked version of the fan Mohawk.

Deathhawk: a longer, softer version of the fan with a section of hair over the ears.

Dreadhawk: the middle section of hair is in dreads

Crosshawk: section on hair going from ear to ear.

psychobilly Mohawk: a rockabilly styled section of hair in the middle sides shaved

Frohawk: sides can be shaved, braided or gelled flat, the middle section of hair can be left lose in curls or twisted in braids
