Common Name The Outstanding Miltonia

Flower Size to 4" [to 10 cm]

Found in Brazil at elevations around 800 meters, as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte that has ovate-oblong, compressed, yellowy pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, linear-ligulate, rounded apically leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a racemose, axillary, erect or arching, to 8" [20 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising with a new pseudobulb growth and subtended by imbricating sheaths and bracts that completely cover the ovary.

It is normal for the foliage and pseudobulbs to have a yellowish color and is actually a sign of perfect lighting which should be bright.

Also from Brazil, likes to be on tree fern mounts or in wood slat baskets and is a cool to hot growing plant that blooms through the summer and fall.
