Candy Cane Nails

I was thinking of different nail arts to do on top of the beautiful red CND Vinylux Kiss of Fire that I was wearing the other day and I ended up having a hard time deciding between Candy Cane Nails, which I eventually decided for and a Christmas tree. That means that you are probably going to see a Christmas tree on a red background sometime soon :P.

I wanted to so uneven areas of white on top of the red of two reasons. I really enjoy the uneven look and it’s easier to place the tape randomly on top of the red than trying to place them precisely. On some of the places I placed the tape very tightly next to each other in order to either get a thicker red line or to get that thin white line in the middle of the reds that you can see on my ring finger and on my pinky. Well, there are some more thin white lines, these ones are the ones that are visible on the pictures down below.
